Records, mainly 1927-1953, of the League of Wisconsin Municipalities, an organization established in 1898 to benefit Wisconsin cities and villages. Documentation is best for the period after 1928 when Frederick MacMillen joined the organization as executive secretary and editor. Included are materials documenting the league's role in advising local communities and in drafting state legislation. Also included is a panoramic photograph of participants in the 16th annual convention of the League, 1914.
